Highland Letting Agency
Points for the Landlord to consider when leasing a property:
People choose to rent their properties for different financial reasons, and by now you have your own reasons in mind. As a landlord you want to know that your property is making you money and at the same time being well looked after. We can offer you different packages/ways to rent your property depending on your needs.
Before you let your property there are a few things you should consider, if you have a mortgage on your property permission should be obtained from you mortgage lender, also talk to your insurance company to make the necessary changes on your existing policy. You should end your contract with the suppliers of gas, electricity and telephone and also notify the Council Tax authority that the property is now being leased.
All white goods i.e. washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker, dishwasher etc. Should be in good working order. The landlord should deal with repair and maintenance to these goods unless mishandling is recognised.
We know the importance of finding the correct Tenant for your property, and to do this we would suggest that your property is light and airy, along with a sleek and minimalist look, should you require any assistance or advice on this we would be pleased to advise you at no extra cost. We will also inspect your property and compile a report on a 3 monthly basis.
